It’s been close to a year since I have contributed my thoughts to the PM WORLD Today. I would start by acknowledging the wonderful projects done by the project manager of the PM WORLD Today project, Mr. David Pells. It’s been 11th year in a row without loss of enthusiasm or ideas in bringing together the PM community -hats off to you!
In this viewpoint article I would like to throw light upon a very important and universal principle which, if applied by any living human being on a consistent basis, WILL produce outstanding results.
The circle of Influence/concern
All or many of the problems faced by us in our lives both personal & professional are due to just one cause (root cause). Our uncanny ability to focus most of our time in the ‘circle of concern’. Readers of this article who have laid their hands on 7 habits of highly effective people by one of the leading management Gurus Mr. Steven covey should be able to explain this even if woken up in the middle of sleep. For the sake of others I will touch upon the circles here.
