In today’s world it is becoming increasingly important for people to work together in a team environment. According to Dale Carnegie adults spend 61% of their time working in teams.
Team members each contribute their individuality and strengths to achieve the goal. An important factor for each team member is to cooperatively work with other individuals and demonstrate their best talents and function as a unit.
You can build a successful team by:
Obtain competent and capable individuals who are skilled in addressing the subject at hand
Provide clear expectations of the team performance and expected outcomes

About the Author Author Deborah J. Pariseau, PMP is currently a Technical Planner for the Enterprise Network Division of PHNS. I worked as a Project Manager for AT&T for 10 years and 9 years prior to that as the Corporate Communications Manager for McLaren Healthcare Corporation.
