PMI announces new Award for best research paper
According to the PMI announcement, the award is intended to recognize the significant impact of project management research, and to reinforce the importance of refereed journal articles for the advancement of the project management body of knowledge. All papers accepted and published in the Project Management Journal for the calendar year 2007 are eligible for the award. The Editorial Advisory Board and Reviewers for the journal will select the best paper based on the following criteria:
PMI research conferences bring together researchers, academics, advanced level practitioners and consultants to share perspectives and discuss innovative practices in project management. At the 2008 PMI Research Conference, seven plenary presentations and 68 proffered papers are expected to be included in the program, which has the theme “Defining the Future of Project Management."
