IT Project Portfolio Cost Management Research underway

Project management professionals worldwide have until April 4 to participate in an IT Project Portfolio Cost Management survey sponsored by the Center for Business Practices in the USA. Those who complete the survey will receive a copy of the complete research report as well as entered into a drawing to win a free registration to the CBP Summit in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA during June 24-26, 2008 (an US$1,895 value).

How well do you estimate project costs? Do your cost management practices tie to your IT and business goals? How do you measure your cost management success? What are your most significant cost estimating challenges? These and other significant issues are addressed in this survey on the state of project cost management in IT environments.

To take the survey, visit http://www.questionpro.com/akira/TakeSurvey?id=901129. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept strictly confidential.

This survey is being conducted by the Center for Business Practices and sponsored by Price Systems, the leading developer of cost management software. It's designed to help understand current practices as well as trends that will lead to improved project and business success.

The Center for Business Practices is the research and publishing arm of the US-based consulting and training organization PM Solutions. The CBP promotes effective strategy execution through sound portfolio, program, project, and performance management by capturing best practice knowledge and integrating it into actionable, fact-based information: research, publications, and benchmarking events.
