The Indonesian Society of Project Management Proffesionals (IAMPI) held an international conference and Indonesian Project Management Award announcement at Borobudur Hotel - Jakarta, December 14, 2011. In the left picture, Mr. Adesh Jain discussed with Indonesian Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The right picture is of the conference’s attendance.
With the theme ‘Innovation for Better Future’ and seminar title: The Importance of Risk Management to Successful Projects, the conference run was very successful, the attendances were about 200 people, much bigger than IAMPI expectation.
Government of Indonesia ministries gave their big support and participation to this conference. Minister of State Owned Corporations; Vice Minister of Public Works, Vice Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources were the conference keynote speakers and presenters.
Mr. David Hudson represented the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and Mr, Adesh represented IPMA, both of them are officers of the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM). They joined and gave their presentations as well, beside other presenters who are key players in Oil and Gas, Big Infrastructure Contractors, Highway operators and industry segments. Rahayu Arifin
Rahayu S. Arifin is the CEO of C-Five Management, an IT Consulting firm and executive consultant relating to matters in Strategic, Human Resources and Program/ Project Management. Her project experience includes turboprop aircraft development, telecommunications, Business Architecture, Process and People Blue Print, Business Process Reengineering, Competency Based Human Resource Management, Balance Scorecard Implementation, and Program/ Project Management Office. Rahayu obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Physics and Master of Engineering and Industrial Management degree from Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1999. Rahayu is a founder of the PMI Jakarta Chapter, and was president of the PMI Jakarta Chapter during 2002 – 2004. She remains active in PMI Jakarta Chapter as organization advisor. She is a General Secretary of Indonesian Advance Project Management Association. In PM regional association, she is also active, being a membership committee Lead at the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management (APFPM). Rahayu also active in other professional organizations such as: the Indonesian business chamber organization and the Indonesian Consultants Association.
