Ecuador promotes the development of innovation projects
The Ministry for Coordination of Production, Employment and Competitiveness, organized an event that introduced the program called “Innova Ecuador“. This program aims to provide funds for companies or unions that submit projects of technological innovation.
Several industry sectors can benefit from this program. The government has US $ 5 millions to grant projects. Each company may receive up to $ 50,000 per project. Companies may participate in www.innovaecuador.ec until August 17.
Events
On 30 July, the PMI Ecuador Chapter organized an event for its members. During the event, Mr. Renan Murgueytio gave a speech entitled "Stakeholder Analysis". The event was attended by several professionals from Quito, and was broadcast over the internet to Guayaquil, Cuenca and Loja. Ecuador Chapter intends to make monthly lectures on topics for the community.
