Prospective outlook for PM in Nepal

This month, a few events have taken place that set a tone of optimism for the profession of project management in Nepal. A long-planned regular program of the Project Management Association of Nepal (PMAN), the Breakfast Meeting, the first one, took place on July 29th at Royal Singi Hotel. It was marked to celebrate the efforts of the Young Crew, 5th Term MBA students of Kathmandu University School of Management who’d organized a seminar in May on “Project Management - Transforming Challenges to Opportunities”.

The Breakfast Meeting was participated by well-known personalities and the members. Two key note speakers, Dr. Shibesh Chandra Regmi – Regional Manager of World Neighbours and Dr. Ram Hari Lamichanne – Project Manager of Skill for Employment Project highlighted the issues faced by project managers today.
