Jordi Seguró is elected as
New President for AEDIP
The Spanish project management association for Construction (AEDIP) has elected a new president for his organization, his name is Jordi Seguró Capa, who is the current President/Council Advisor for Integral S.A., a company founded in 1969 and for whom he has worked since 2002.
An Architect from the Architecture School of Barcelona, Jordi Seguró has developed his professional career in the construction sector as Building and Technical manager, working for consulting companies like Ibering Estudios y Proyectos S.A. and he is a Master S.A. for Engineering and Architecture. He has been a Manager for the Project Management post degree studies for the Architecture Professional Association in Catalunya (Escola Sert) from 2004 to 2007. He has been actively involved in AEDIP since 2006, an association that joins 41 consulting firms from the construction sector, and which provide project management services. Jordi Seguró has broad experience in the Project Management sector, and examples iinclude the Palau Nacional de Montjuïc, the Torre Agbar, and the Edificio Forum of the Hotel World Trade Center (WTC) at Barcelona. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), a professional organization which counts on more than 400.000 members and which is present in 250 countries worldwide.
The AEDIP Executive Committee, renewed at their last Assambly, has been completed with the election of two Vice Presidents.
Carlos Andreu Pinillos, as First Vice President, is a Lawyer by ICADE, President and Executve Advisor of Symonds Gabitat. He is a Professor for several Post graduate degree courses and Director for a Contract Management Masters Degree at the UEM.
Alejandro Puerta González, has been elected as Second Vice President; he is Industrial Engineering, Idom partner, certified by IPMA (International Project Management Association) and also a Professor for several post graduate degree studies.
AEDIP is the Spanish Project Management Association for the Construction sector, and is constitued by 41 consulting companies that provide project management services for the construction sector in Spain. AEDIP was born on 1994 with the objective of promoting the knowledge, dissemination and utilization of Project Management as a management system for the Construction sector.
