This report includes some information from late December through March.
PM Events
The year hasn’t really started for Brazilian events in Project Management and it seems there is a preference for holding them during the second semester. However, things will warm up starting April with the Ninth International Meeting of Project Managers in Brasilia and the Infra2009, an international event produced by Project Labs with the participation of Spider Project and the presence of Dan McNichol (US), Michael Meagher (China), Stoyan (Steve) Filipov and Vladimir Liberzon (Russia).
Mr. Vladimir Liberzon will be talking at the Infra2009 (April 23rd and 24th) about several large projects in preparation for the Winter Olympics of 2014.
Once in Brazil, I will have the pleasure to tag along him for several other smaller presentations that will be given in Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia when he will be talking about advance scheduling techniques and presenting optimization and risk management functionalities of Spider Project Professional, a leading project management tool in Russia and other 13 countries. Most of such presentations will be held in construction associations and chapters of PMI.
In Brasilia, the chapter of PMI will promote its 9th International Meeting. The event in Brasilia has confirmed the presence of Gregory Balestrero, CEO of PMI Global and it will happen from April 7th to April 9th and having as a theme “Government and Business improving their effectiveness in management”.
