2009 Project Management Days for the Construction Sector in Madrid
The Project Management Association for the Construction industry (AEDIP), celebrated on Friday, June the 5th, the yearly event DIP 2009, at the professional association of Civil Engineers in Madrid. That event, that celebrated its nineth anniversary this year, has been recognized as “the most important annual event in project management for the Construction sector”.
The motto for that event was “Project Management for infrastructure and public projects”, That annual project management event (DIP 2009) analyzed the current situation of this discipline in the construction sector and it was driven by several experts from that sector in Spain, and recognized professionals from the Public Administration like Mr. Cándido Pérez Serrano, general manager for Budget and Economic Analysis from the Community of Madrid; Ms. Rosario Luca, general secretary from Paradores Nacionales; Mr. Sebastiá Mateu Bausells, architect; Mr. Javier Sobrino, Operations Director for Madrid 2016; and Mr. Miquel Bonilla, director from Instituto Catalán del Suelo (Incasol).
This event finished with a closing ceremony for the delivery of the AEDIP 2009 Prize, that celebrates its third anniversary and recognizes the best project management work developed for the Construction sector in Spain.

Alfonso Bucero, DEA, PMP, is an International Correspondent for PMForum and PM World Today in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Bucero is also founder and Managing Partner of BUCERO PM Consulting.
