Board of Director Election Results At the Project Management Institute – Houston Chapter, Inc.
The Board of Directors of PMI Houston has witnessed increasing gender diversity among its officers. Thirty percent of its leaders are women, with Ms. Caroline Gormley being this year's Chapter President. In addition there is a marked mix of different cultures at the Board of Directors level, with representation from France, Italy, Scotland, and even Texas.
Succession Planning and Experienced Board of Directors:
Once an elected leader is on the PMIH Board, he / she will commit to his / her role for 2 years, at the end of his / her terms and if the majority of the Board votes in his / her favor for a more experienced leadership role, he / she will have another 4 years on the Board respectively as Senior VP of Internal Operations, Senior VP of External Operations, President and Past President. In any case, the elected leader can also decide to continue as a Board of Director in another area or the same.
