Dear Editor,

I learned with great sorrow about the death of Rita Mulcahy in the June Edition of PM World Today. I first came to know about Rita’s work when I was searching for project management authors and this is when I came to know about RMC project.

I have for the past six months been preparing to sit for the PMP Exam and after thorough search for the educational materials I would use, I had to settle for the PMP Exam Prep Sixth Edition book by Rita Mulcahy. Though I failed to sit for the Exam in the past months due to financial difficulties, I was confident I was going to pass the Exam. Rita’s book is written in a very simple and understandable manner that you capture the contents without difficulty.

I had planned to send an email to Rita after passing the PMP Exam to thank her for her effort to produce such world class training materials. Unfortunately, she has gone. Rita has given her all for the field of project management to ensure that project management knowledge is spread all over the world even to us who are far in Africa. I will join the rest of her disciples to continue from where she stopped.

I believe RMC Project will continue to raise the project management flag.

May the Almighty God be with her family.
