Design of Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Project
off UK Coast Kicks Off

KBR,the Houston-based engineering and construction services company, has announced
that it has been selected as the contractor for a pre-front-end engineering and
design (pre-FEED) study for Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm by npower
renewables, Ltd., the UK
subsidiary of RWE Innogy. The contract is worth an estimated $750,000. Triton
Knoll is located in the Greater Wash region of the United
Kingdom, approximately 33 kilometers (20.5 miles) from the Lincolnshire
coast.

Under
the contract, KBR will establish the design basis for an environmental
assessment and planning application. This will include wind turbine layout,
foundation assessment, electrical design, installation methodology and
operational requirements. Work on the engineering study project will begin
immediately.

a capacity of up to 1200 megawatts (MW), Triton Knoll will be amongst the
world's largest offshore wind farms proposed to date.
