DYNAMICS 2009 Project Management Conference to be in Istanbul, Turkey in April

The DYNAMICS 2009 Project Management Conference will be held in Istanbul, Turkey during April 10-11, 2009. This will be the 10^th International Project Management Symposium sponsored by IPYD, the Istanbul Project Management Association. Every year this international symposium brings together prestigious speakers from various sectors and countries to present different topics related to the theme of that year's conference. This year, speakers and conference hosts will explore "Management By Projects in the 21^st Century".


Dynamics, organized by the Istanbul Project Management Association with a wide range of participants, is the oldest and best established project management symposium in Turkey. It aims to promote professionalism and quality in the practice of project management in Turkey, by bringing together professionals, academics and practitioners to exchange views and experiences. Participants will learn the application of widely accepted global standards within the frame of professional ethics, as adopted by international organizations such as the Project Management Institute (PMI^®) and the International Project Management Association (IPMA).

In prior years, speakers have included the Chair and officers of PMI, leading members of the PMI College of Performance Management, and many European and Turkish dignitaries from business, academia and government. DYNAMICS 2009 is expected to have the largest international participation in the event's history.

CONGRESS LOCATION: THE MARMARA in Taksim, at the heart of Istanbul, is one of the most spectacular venues in the city. Most rooms have breathtaking views of the Bosporus and one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

International visitors are advised to allow a few days prior to and following the symposium, to visit the many historical sites and to sample one of the richest cuisines in the world.

IPYD was officially founded on March 18, 1997 as an association for project management with approximately 500 members in various industrial sectors including construction, IT and finance. IPYD works in cooperation with Turkish members of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and delivers to its members knowledge on practices and developments in the international project management world.
