Introduction to the Book

Office 365 in business is a book introducing office applications for business and its use with cloud technology.  The book describes the benefits of sharing documents in real time, check in – check out controls, and management of file sharing globally.  Much of the book is devoted to showing users how to use the tools.

Overview of Book’s Structure

The book first defines what Office 365 is and discusses the benefits.  These first sections provide information for what Microsoft can do for medium to large businesses.  This is only in the first few chapters.  The remainder of the book demonstrates in detail the use of the tools.

Highlights: What I liked!

The authors did an excellent job explaining the benefits of the applications and how they can be used.  The book spent some words providing information to potential users of the advantages and disadvantages.

The real value of the book is demonstrating the use of the applications to users.  For users who have no experience with applications and how to optimize the team environment, this book is an excellent introduction.
