Project Management during critical times in the Construction Industry

According to the Fernando Iribarren’s opinion (Project Management Director from PAYMACOTAS), it is complicated to summarize in a few lines what are the benefits that Project Management services give to an entity that outsources these services. There are several factors that contribute to define those benefits, starting by the organizational structure and the resources from the subcontractor, the scope of the subcontracted services or, of course, the capacity of the company which delivers those services.

The starting point that will allow to optimize the potential benefits that gives to the final customer to outsource several Project Management services, it is known that who subcontract those services should be involved in the project. We are not talking about a simple contractual relationship where everyone is looking for his/her own benefit, as usally happens in any commercial relationship between organizations, but we are talking about a relationship where the last purpose is, for both companies, the benefit from the hiring entity: minimizing the inherent risks from every project, facilitating the accomplishment of all the cost, time and quality objectives, and controlling continuously the production process.

That is, finally, the aim which should inspire the actions from any organization that delivers Project Management Services. We work for the customer, and that must be understood and perceived by the customer.
