PMI Sydney Chapter Short Courses and Professional Development Opportunities
Roy Hilson, founder of Prudentia, brings his popular risk management course to PMI Sydney Chapter on Saturday, October 24. “Applying Integrated Risk Management Concepts to Commercial Projects: A Practical Approach” is about the fundamentals of risk management. The objective is to provide participants with an understanding of the broad scope of risk management and what is required to achieve ongoing proactive management of risk. It deals with the concepts as well as their application to the Project Management environment.
On October 29, international change management expert Peter de Jager brings “Managing the Myths of Change” to Sydney. Peter’s purpose is to entice his audience to think deeper about Change and how it affects them. This interactive one-day workshop addresses the myths surrounding change that construct obstacles in front of successful implementations. While his focus is on the management issues surrounding change, he also speaks on how we look to the future and the technologies that bring change into our lives.

He holds an Education Diploma, a Masters degree in History and an MBA in International Project Management and Organisational Development, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
