The Buenos Aires chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIBA) has been very active in the last month, offering several activities through all the country, preparing itself for congresses to be offered in october and november, and also facing a new election season for its Board of Directors members. PMIBA maintains regular activity in four cities of Argentina: Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Córdoba, Rosario. Following is a synthesis of the latest news of PMI in Argentina:
Election of new members for the Board of Directors
This year PMIBA has modified its election rules, as a means to provide more voting opportunities for members and also smoother transitions in the conduction of the chapter from one year to another. The new rules are similar to those followed by PMI headquarters for election of its Board of Directors.
Jornadas Rosarinas de Project Management (Project Management Congress in Rosario)
PMIBA will offer the first PMI congress in the city of Rosario this month. The “Jornadas Rosarinas de Project Management” will be hold at the Ariston Hotel on October 21st. Three lectures will be presented, including latest trends and also best practices on Project Management.
