PMI Washington DC and Baltimore Chapters Offer Project Management Events to the Local Project Management Community
The Washington DC and Baltimore project management communities are fortunate to have several very active PMI chapters serving them. This is a brief summary of two of the events offered by these Chapters.
The PMI Washington DC Chapter is offering a seminar on May 2 at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner, Virginia as part of its seminar series. The presentation, entitled “Getting Executives to Act for Project Success” will be presented by Michael O’Brochta.
Mr. O’Brochta has managed hundreds of projects over the past thirty years and is also an experienced line manager, author, lecturer, trainer and consultant. As a senior project manager at the CIA, he led the project management and systems engineering training and certification program to mature practices agency-wide. This seminar topic has drawn overflow audiences at PMI Global Congresses in Toronto, Bangkok, Madrid, and in Denver where it drew the largest audience of the conference; it has also been featured in the PM Network magazine.
