November was another busy month for the Turkish Project Management Community; presentations, project activities and preparations for future events occurred, as briefly described below.
International PM Day
The most newsworthy item was the celebration of the International Project Management Day on November 5th; we managed to bring members and leadership of the four Project Management professional organizations in Turkey together with celebrations in Istanbul and Ankara. Nearly 70 people attended each event, which were sponsored and/or supported by TURKISH TELECOM in Ankara and an HP sunsidiary in Istanbul. The most important outcome from these events was the people getting to know one another and showing a sincere interest in collaborating to advance the State of the Art in the application of project management in Turkey.

PMI TURKEY delivered a presentation on PMP Certification and earning Professional Development Units (PDUs), another well-attended PMI Turkey monthly event,
