Hello David,

I think the PM Manifesto for America is a stellar idea, and I want to be a part of it. Sign me up! As well, I can speak for asapm (American Society for the Advancement of Project Management; see: www.asapm.org); our organization is also very interested in being involved.  

I have several observations about this new effort.

• It is useful, great and timely. Congratulations to you, Russ, and such a stellar panel of experts for putting this together.

• Obviously, one key to all these new infrastructure projects achieving the desired levels of success would be for all project managers to demonstrate performance competence. That is one key place where we can help.

• As for a web location for this effort: I strongly suggest that you use a Collaborative Website, similar to the ones we’ve set up for IPMA, asapm, ChangeAgents, and over 20 other initiatives. Les Squires, the US’s guru for our collaborative efforts, has agreed to assist to the extent needed.

• What can I do to help further this initiative?

You produced a great PM World Today January issue to kick off the new year!
