Call for Papers: IPMA Expert Seminar and Slovenia Festival of Knowledge Event in September 2009Project management educators, experts, researchers and professionals are invited to submit a paper proposal and to attend the Slovenia Festival of Knowledge and IPMA Expert Seminar at the Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor in Celje, Slovenia. The two-day project management workshop will be at the Faculty of Logistics in Celje, during 17th - 18th September 2009. ![]() Topic II - Logistics of New Business Models: project management, network organizations, virtual environment and business excellence models. Contents will include virtual organization, e-business and e-project management, program and portfolio management in network organizations, process based organization, e-platforms, project management office in network organizations and industrial clusters, and project and business models. A summary of the proposed paper and presentation from developers and advanced practitioners can be submitted until 20 August 2009, and sent to bostjan.bozic@gmail.com. Submission guidelines: The paper title should be accurate and informative. The text of summary should answer the following questions: • What is the background of the research, development or practice to be presented? • What is the status of this line? • What do you know with certainty? • What is still undiscovered or unrealized? • What research, development or practice needs to be done? The summary should be 1-2 pages, along with author names, affiliations and contact information. Full papers will not be required until after the September workshop, will be up to 12 pages, will be due by 15 November 2009, and will be published in a scientific book in the IPMA Expert Seminars Series. ![]() The IPMA Expert Seminar coinciding with the Slovenia Festival of Knowledge is organized by the Project & Technology Management Institute, Faculty of Logistics, University of Maribor, Celje, Slovenia. Partners are the Slovenia Project Management Association (ZPM), International Project Management Association (IPMA), LENS Living Lab and SIG NETLIPSE.
