Call for Presentations for APM National Project Management Conference in October

The Association for Project Management (APM) has scheduled the APM 2009 Project Management Conference - Delivering Projects Professionally - for Wednesday, 21^st October 2009 at The Brewery in London. The conference will be an interactive forum to provide participants with an insight into the development of effective project professionals.

The APM Project Management conference panel is inviting project managers, project management practitioners and professional leaders to take part in shaping the national and international project management agendas by contributing a presentation to the conference.

This year's hot topics include

• Sponsorship - developing an effective link between sponsors and project professionals.
  


• Capability development - enhancing project management capability and competence in organisations.
  


• The project management toolkit - advancing professional practice in project management.
  


• Project ethics - exploring how new professional standards are changing the roles and responsibilities of project practitioners.
  

Presentation slots will typically be 30 minutes long - 20 minutes presentation and 10 minutes for questions, answers and debate. Presentation outlines should be no more than 250 words long in PDF, Word or PowerPoint format. Presentation outlines should be submitted to APM by Wednesday 24^th June 2009 to conference@apm.org.uk.
